The Office of Graduate Studies and Trainee Affairs (OGSTA) is hosting an inaugural International Day of Women and Girls in Science panel event on Tuesday, Feb. 11, noon to 1:30 pm at Fondren 100. This day is a United Nations initiative that aims to highlight the work of female researchers, encourage girls to pursue scientific careers, and put an end to the bias that can limit the ambitions of young women. Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions to a panel of distinguished women who have established careers within the biomedical community.
